AYSO Region 337 Referee Program Vision


By the year 2006, Region 337's Referee Development Program is to become the preeminent model within AYSO Area 5B for referee excellence in officiating, administration and development at all levels of the game.

Referee Program Mission
The Region 337 Referee Development Program is a service organization of integrity dedicated to all Region 337 referees, whose purpose is to ensure the developpment of the Region 337 Referee in terms of quality and quantity through achieving excellence in governance, education and administration. This program shall work in the interests of all its members to serve the game at every level of competition.

Policy
Membership as a privilege offered and granted to certified volunteers who perform capably as Referees, Assistant Referees and U8 Officials during AYSO sanctioned activities. It carries with it an obligation for each individual volunteer to uphold and promote the stated goals and objectives of AYSO and do nothing to bring AYSO and Region 337 into disrepute or work against its goals and objectives. Any conduct which is considered unethical or as a conflict of interest shall be subject to possible disciplinary actions.

Match Requirement
Referees, Assistant Referees and U8 Officials are expected to sign up for a minimum of one AYSO match on each scheduled game day, unless assigned to higher competition (USSF or college matches).
