Board members,

Week 3 of the fall season has come and gone. Once again we had great weather for the games.

We had a few no shows on games, please make sure everyone has the right game schedule. The rest of the games seemed to go off with out too many problems. With as many people as we have, players, parents, and coaches we are bound to have a few misunderstandings now and then.

There was a U10 game played on Friday and from what I saw it was a good game. We still need help lining the fields, esp. the U6 fields. Russ Wise had a sign up list for U8 coaches, The U14 coaches (and MS teams) will keep field 5 lined That leaves the U10 and U12 fields.

There was a lot of trash on field 2, we can put some more trash cans on those fields for next week. I will see if John Harbison can get Waste Management to empty the dumpster. It is full and so are all the trash cans. Pat and I spent over a hour Sunday picking up some of the trash left (or blown out) on the fields.

The referees did it again, as far as I could tell all the games were covered. A special thanks to all the folks that come out and did games. Mike Compton was back on the fields helping out. We will lose Chris Bayless he has knee surgery on Monday. I wish him well. I know of one new referee, that after she player her U14 game, was an AR on the next 2 games (U14 and U19). Several folks were changing from coach shirts to referee shirts and back again. Thank you referees you all are doing a great job.
Greg Lawson was taking pictures again this week, he is on a break-neck schedule to get all the teams photographed. So far it is working well. I had some parents say they liked the photo schedule that was posted.

The lost and found grew again this week, we got 2 brand new size 3 diadora soccer balls. Russ and Vicki just passed some of them out last week.

One of the Kids Zone signs was torn down (end of field 6). I picked it up and it is in the storage building.

We got several donations of shoes and jerseys for the recycle program.

So all in all a great weekend for soccer.

See you all on the fields again next week.
