AYSO Region 337 July Board Meeting
July 12, 2007

Present were: George Burgess, Pat Burgess, Drew Burt, Becky Burt, Mary Davis, Kellie Gilliam, Teresa Guy, Liesel Harrison, Angela Lister, Mike Moody, Chris Mott, Daniel Hart, Kerry Patterson, Rick Roth, Cat Seagle, Amy Waller, Laura Walters, David Lister, Amanda Hart, Daniel Hart, Leanne Hinkle and Susan Unbehaun.

The layout for the new fields for Fall 2007 was distributed.

George has e-mailed copies for the Supercamp. Please send the in if you will be taking the course.

Cat asked for volunteers to help her at registration. Numbers are up for registration, so any and all volunteer participation is needed.

We currently have approx. $36,000 in the treasury.

All new goals will be ordered for the fields. Christ Mott to order.

All volunteers need to complete a volunteer form ASAP!

George reminded everyone that we must get back to the P.O. system when ordering/buying things for the region.

The new players clinics will be August 18th and September 1st. Volunteers to help with these clinics are greatly needed!

Purposed changes/additions to Regional Guidelines were passed out. Much discussion was held. Kellie Gilliam took down changes, comments, suggestions, additions, etc. and will update.

August 20th will be the first practice of the fall season.

Regional calendars will be distributed as soon as they are received by George.

Area 5B minutes were distributed.

Jerseys due to arrive at Amanda Hart’s house on July 13, 2007.

Kerry Patterson and Bill Mize are to discuss and plan on how to distribute referee jerseys and equipment.

Please turn in referee feedback forms at registration. This will help us to understand the lack of referee participation and lack of returning referees.

Uniroyal tires will be giving out the coupons this year for our region. For a free soccer ball and also $2.00 to our region for every set of tires purchased.

The Player Equipment Recycle person is Susan Unbehaun.

Flyers have been mailed notifying everyone of $5.00 discount for mail in registrations.

It was proposed that all of the goals would be chained and locked together at the end of each game day. Was proposed that the first and last teams that play each game day be responsible for unlocking and locking them.
