The four alternates are Brandon Gilliam, Tiffany Roth, Anthony Smith and Brittany Heater. National has notified George that there is a slot for another team from the region. If someone is interested they need to take charge and get the team together. The region will pay the entry fee of $400.00. No applications will be accepted before March 15 and from that date it will be first come-first serve.

The board voted unanimously to charge Gresham Middle and Halls Middle Schools a flat fee of $55.00 per game to use a field. This will pay for the center referee and two AR’s that is required. Bill Mize will assign the referees to do the games All will be region 337 refs and will be an excellent chance for the inexperienced referees to work with the experienced ones. A contract and set fee is needed for any adult leagues that want to use the fields.

We have not received the money from Greg Lawson; the photographer the region has a contract with. There have been repeated attempts to contact him by three board members. He has refused to return phone calls and e-mails. Mike Horner will draft a letter informing him he is in breach-of-contract with us for not paying us the commission due us. We would like to collect that money and also will not use him anymore. Lifetouch has agreed to take the spring pictures. We will only have one-year contracts from now on.

George told everyone they would be getting their packets in the mail for the Section meeting. He has already given everyone going his or her room conformation number. The most logical meeting place for the night we leave will be Wal-Mart at Walker Springs. George will let everyone know what time after he talks to Victor Gosnell (the bus-driver).

Sharon Wise gave the treasurers report. Current balance is $52,571.25. There are several insufficient funds checks from registration. Sharon has contacted the individuals, coaches (that the child is playing for) and age division coordinator. She has told the Parent if payment is not made then child will not play. Those that are required to do a budget: It needs to be turned in as soon as possible.

Liesl Harrison (Region Auditor, Area Auditor) did an audit on the books for the months Sharon Wise has been treasurer. She reported everything looked fine.

The referee training class dates are posted on the web site. All coach classes are also posted along with the date and time for the meeting for all coaches.
